About the Client

Arch Henderson is a long-established, multidisciplinary engineering consultancy providing civil, structural, and marine engineering services across the UK. Known for their technical expertise and collaborative approach, the firm works on a wide range of complex infrastructure projects for public and private sector clients.

The Challenge

As part of an office relocation, Arch Henderson recognised the need to upgrade their outdated IT setup. They had been operating with custom-built computers on a basic peer-to-peer network, which lacked the security, efficiency, and scalability required for a professional practice.

They engaged Euro Systems to support the move and modernise their infrastructure.

The Approach

Euro Systems began with two planning sessions and a full site audit to assess Arch Henderson’s requirements and existing infrastructure. From this, we developed a tailored proposal and network plan to support a more secure and efficient IT environment.

This included specifying the appropriate hardware, software, and network configuration needed for the new office, with careful coordination to align the implementation with the office move timeline.

The Results

Euro Systems delivered and installed a new 10-user network, including a new server, updated computers, and software, along with a full migration from Microsoft Small Business Server 2003. Existing equipment was also relocated and reinstalled with minimal disruption.

To further enhance the new workspace, an interactive Smart Board was supplied and installed in the meeting room, improving both functionality and presentation capabilities.

The relocation was completed smoothly, on time, and with no disruption to business operations. Arch Henderson continues to benefit from ongoing support provided by Euro Systems — and feedback from both staff and clients has been overwhelmingly positive.
