COVID-19 Customer Update

In our last communication regarding the Covid-19 pandemic, we informed our customers of the measures we were taking with immediate effect, in response to the spread of Coronavirus and advice from the government.

Our significant investments in cloud technology allowed us to react quickly and implement working from home across the business in no time. We have managed to ensure the safety of our staff, and we have ensured no disruption to the services we provide to our customers.

During this crisis, and as always, our team at Euro Systems remains committed to providing technologies and IT services to ensure our customers’ operations are up to speed, and free from disruption. We are accountable for the provision and maintenance of technologies that allow businesses to continue their operations remotely, and safely. We want to reassure our customers that we continue to monitor the situation closely, to guarantee the continuity of the services we supply.

In line with our previous communications, and as the ease of lockdown restrictions start to come into effect, we will remain vigilant and proceed as cautiously as required. At this point, it’s essential not to rush into taking any actions that could compromise the safety of our staff, or affect the continuity of our services and operations.

For now and at the time of writing this post (May 22nd), our workforce remain away from our office spaces, operating as close to ‘business as usual’ as possible, in a home-based working environment. In this unusual scenario we have all found ourselves in, we have been more than pleased to see the positive outcomes of our measures, and how we have helped our customers remotely, in any way possible. Our service has continued to be delivered to the highest standards, which has been reflected in high customer satisfaction ratings.

As millions of other people around the world, we have been making the most of Microsoft Teams to conduct all our customer and staff meetings, and we have witnessed the power of this and other technologies that allow us to keep working collaboratively and effectively as a team.

Planning our safe return to the office

As virtually every other organisation, we are in the careful process of planning our phased and safe return to the office. In doing so, we will make sure to take all factors into consideration, and we will strictly follow all guidelines from the government and health authorities to make our premises safe and secure.

Protecting your company from cyber threats

There has been an increasing number of cyber attacks and threats, as malicious cyber actors take advantage of the pandemic.

In light of the circumstances, the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) has published a useful guide for organisations, with practical advice on how to deal with COVID-19 related malicious cyber activity. Check it out here.

Remote working means many people are using their personal computers for business purposes, which means that products and services that are designed to keep personal computers protected are becoming essential. Sophos, a company that specialises in software and hardware security, has published an article on their blog with best practice tips for secure remote working.
